Refund Policy

1. Overview

nurio study is offered as a 4-week membership for a fixed weekly study led by the same leader. This policy explains how refunds and member absences are handled on study.nurio.kr.

2. Subscription Model

When you join a study, you pay for a 4-week membership tied to one leader and one weekly time slot. Your membership typically includes 4 weekly sessions in that recurring study.

3. Refunds Before the Term Starts

If you cancel before the first session of your term begins, you are eligible for a full refund of the subscription fee.

4. Refunds After the Term Starts

Once the first session of your term has started, the subscription is generally non-refundable. In limited cases we may issue a pro-rated refund at our discretion, calculated as follows:

  • The value of sessions already held (or made available) is deducted from the subscription fee.
  • An administrative fee may be applied.
  • Requests made late in the term may not qualify for any refund.

5. Member Absences and Cancellations

If you miss a session for personal reasons, that occurrence is treated as used whether or not you told us in advance.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the start time are automatically forfeited.
  • Notice given before the 24-hour cutoff does not create a makeup or courtesy extension.
  • Member-caused absences are not refundable.

6. Cancellations by nurio study

If the leader or nurio cannot deliver a scheduled session, that occurrence will not be treated as a member absence. We will extend the undelivered portion of service by shifting coverage and, where applicable, delaying the next recurring charge. If needed, we may instead offer a refund for the undelivered portion or a transfer to another study of equivalent value.

7. How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact us at hello@nurio.kr with your account email and the study group name.
  2. We will review the request and confirm eligibility.
  3. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.

8. Exceptions

This policy does not limit any statutory consumer rights that may apply under Korean law or the laws of your jurisdiction.
